The Owner-Builder Network

Welcome!  Herzlich Willkommen!  Tervetuloa!  ¡Bienvenido!  Croeso!  Welkom!  Maligayang pagdating!  Ongi etorri!  Fáilte!  Benvenuto!

It doesn’t matter where you live or what language you speak, we all share a common bond… we love our homes. We want them to reflect our lifestyles and who we are.  We want our homes to be more than a ‘place’.  We want them to be an extension of what we do and and the values we have.  A place of colour and comfort, warmth and laughter, good food and great pleasures.  A place where our children can grow and feel safe. That one word says it all…home! If these are the things that you also value, you’ve found a second home here at The Owner-Builder Network.  We’re a community who enjoy sharing inspiring ways to make our homes ours.  We invite you to join us so that you can share our knowledge and we can share yours.  Membership is free and takes only a couple of minutes to set up.

We Aussies love our homes.  We invest a lot time, energy and money to make sure they reflect our family personality.  Whether it’s a stone cottage in the Grampians, a beach house on Straddie, a homestead in the Barossa or a town home overlooking King’s Park, we all want it...

What others are saying about us…

Love this site. Great idea after great idea after yet another great idea :)

    • Here's a nice take on a traditional concept - the mountain home. It has all the detail and appearance of a one-off design but it's actually based on a standard model home. We love it but we'd like to hear your opinion after you view the full album of 23 images plus the floor-plan on our site at http://theownerbuildernetwork.com.au/suncadia-precisioncraft/

    • Another fantastic example of what can be created with driftwood. It took artist Jeffro Uitto over a year and a half collecting the right pieces for this Eagle. What are your thoughts? Thumbs up? View more driftwood art installations here: http://theownerbuildernetwork.com.au/urban-art/
