Made using old CDs and DVDs, what do you think of this creation by Sean Avery? Here's a nice take on a traditional concept - the mountain home. It has all the detail and appearance of a one-off design but it's actually based on a standard model home. We love it but we'd like to hear your opinion after you view the full album of 23 images plus the floor-plan on our site at http://theownerbuildernetwork.com.au/suncadia-precisioncraft/
Pinned: 24 May 2013Another fantastic example of what can be created with driftwood. It took artist Jeffro Uitto over a year and a half collecting the right pieces for this Eagle. What are your thoughts? Thumbs up? View more driftwood art installations here: http://theownerbuildernetwork.com.au/urban-art/

Pinned: 24 May 2013Fallingwater... probably the most iconic home ever built. Although we've featured this home previously, it was interesting that two fans compared it with other houses we featured this week - Villa Amanzi and the Chenequa Home. Here is the incomparable Frank Lloyd Wright original in all it's glory. You'll find the full gallery, including new images, on our site at http://theownerbuildernetwork.com.au/contemporary-homes/fallingwater-2/

Are you arty enough to make something like this from recycled materials or are you more like me, who can only admire? Pinned: 23 May 2013The Safe House I just can't get my head around this home. It may be because I'm fortunate to live in a very safe country, but I just don't consider living in a fortress to be 'living'. None-the-less, it doesn't stop me from marvelling at the technology.
